Hamlet – The Criminal Record of a Monarchy (Croatian: Hamlet – Evidencija zločina jedne monarhije), directed by Livija Pandur, is based on the plays A Day of Murders in the History of Hamlet by Bernard-Marie Koltès and “Hamlet” by William Shakespeare with many philosophical references in the text from John Updike, Margaret Atwood, Philip Larkin, Karl Marx, etc.
This adaptation is written by Tibor Hrs Pandur & Livija Pandur for four actors, Nikša Arčanin (Hamlet), Marija Šegvić (Ophelia), Mirej Stanić (Gertrude) and Zdeslav Čotić (Claudius).
Performed in Croatian with English subtitles.
